forgot?

WOW, I almost forgot my last movie critique, Pleasantville. This story starts out black and white then as the charactors become true to themselves they become color. I thought that it was interesting to watch the people become color and how the lack of color changed how I viewed them. Great use of color.
*Reminder to Travis, remember when your'e grading that I made a really cool book for my final!

OVER AT LAST

School is over for the summer, goodie.
So now that I don't have to post for class, I will use
this blog as my personal photography blog.
Here are some images from the sem
that I haven't already posted!

I LOVE PHOTOSHOP

Can I just say I really love playing around in photoshop.
It seems like each time I get on I find a new way to make a
picture look different. It means you sit on your behind a
lot, but it's worth it!

These images (above) are for my digitol imaging 2 class.
They took forever because I didn't know want I wanted when I
started them. But I really like how they came out. Fun times.

Finals

Here is a sneak peak of my final projects for two of my classes.
These two black and white images are for my advanced photo studies class.
My concept is about form and shape. I think these turned out really cool,
just how I imagined. Emily was great model, I've used her a few times and
she was perfect for these.

These two Images are for my color class.
I made a book with several images like these from Utah Lake.
I think this was my favorite project throughout semester because I love to go to the lake by my self in the morning and watch the sun hit the water and listen to the birds. So this project was really fun to photograph, and relaxing. I think I'll continue with this one.Plus the book turned out super cool. I, with Gregs help, made a metal book cover and then, with help from Travis, sewed it together. Group effort.
