I am so excited about these images. Once again Emily was a great model. I'm printing them in the dark room with digital negatives them toning them with Halo Chrome, which turns either the white or the black sort of a silverish metalic color. I will try both ways but will probably tone the black silver. Hopefully will be very cool.

I'm leaning toward the b&w w/ orange shoes,
but I don't know.
What do you think?
(you look HOT lauren)

And by the way, one of my images is
in the student show at the Woodbury gallery.
I don't know which one, I was sick the night
of the opening, and left for out of town the next day.
Check it out, you might see it before I do.
And one of my images is being published in
a literary magazine. fun fun!

Santa Barbra

I don't normally let myself be in my images
but I like this one.
The building in the reflection is a museum.

I'm not done with this one yet.
I need to blend her into the background a little
better, but you get the idea. So this is
the little door that she has to shrink to
get through. Abd the cards that frustrate
poor Alice!

Alice in Wonderland

For Illustration we had to choose literature, or mythology to illustrate.
So I choose Alice in Wonderland, These are just a few worked on so far,
there will be more to come. It was really fun lauren is always a great and silly model
and Mekel and Erin are great hair and makeup artist!
Thanks girls......................
(And by the way this top image is at midnight, it was freezing, Lauren is a trooper)

Birds

I got this amazing book for
Christmas.
The photographer Rosalie Winard
was on Radio West in Nov. and
so I looked her up. This book
has the most beautiful images in it.
She shoots with black and white infared
film. And the other great thing about
this book is Terry Tempest Williams
has some writting in it, and if you have
never read her writting you are missing out.
Everything she writes just glides.
I think in one of my classes this winter I
will try this film, see how it goes.
I'll post images if it turns out.
