In the movie Hero there are several versions of the same event. Each version is expressed by a different color. The color red represents passion; the color blue is for love and the colors green and white express youth and truth.
P.S. My favorite part is when the two women are fighting in the golden leafs and trees and their wearing red.

Amelie
Amelie
The color in this movie was so different from most movies, it was part of the story, like a character. I noticed the color in her home was red, where she felt most comfortable. Out in the world the colorwas green and she wore red. Her bathroom was yellow. The color gave the movie almost a pretend or surreal feel to it, like it was in a different time.
P.S. I love the green ruffled mini curtains around her t.v. when she was a child. And after her mother dumps out the fish into the stream, she drops the glass fish bowl in also.
